LIVE WEDDING ART
An original work of art created during your celebration.
As your guests celebrate, I capture one meaningful moment from your wedding day in an original painting created live during your reception. Throughout the evening, guests are invited to watch the artwork evolve before it's completed in my studio and delivered as a lasting keepsake.
Every piece is individually designed around your wedding, your venue, and your unique celebration.
No templates. No reproductions. No two artworks are ever alike.

LIVE GUEST PORTRAITS
Give your guests a one-of-a-kind keepsake they'll actually treasure.
During cocktail hour or your reception, I create expressive hand-drawn portraits in my signature oil pastel style. Guests enjoy watching their portraits come to life and leave with an original piece of artwork from your celebration.
Guest portraits are offered on a first-come, first-served basis during the scheduled portrait session. The number completed depends on the length of your event and whether portraits feature individuals or couples.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does live wedding painting work?
Before your wedding, we'll discuss the moment, setting, and details you'd like represented.
On the wedding day, I arrive with my assistant to set up my easel, materials, and workspace. I begin developing the composition and continue painting throughout the celebration while guests are welcome to stop by and watch the artwork evolve.
After the wedding, I return the painting to my studio to refine details and complete the finished artwork before delivery.
Is the painting finished before the reception ends?
Most of the painting is completed live during your wedding.
Afterward, I spend additional studio time refining the figures, color, lighting, and other details before the finished artwork is delivered to you.
What moments can you paint?
Every wedding is unique.
Some couples choose their first dance, while others prefer their first kiss, ceremony, private last dance, or another meaningful moment.
We'll discuss your wedding timeline together and determine which scene will create the strongest finished composition.
Can I choose between acrylic paint and oil pastel?
Yes.
Live wedding paintings are created in acrylic on canvas.
Wedding portraits and studio commissions are also available in expressive oil pastel on archival paper. Available sizes vary slightly depending on the selected medium.
Can guests watch while you work?
Absolutely.
Guests are welcome to stop by the easel throughout the evening, watch the artwork develop, ask questions, and follow its progress as the celebration unfolds.
Do you offer live guest portraits?
Yes.
Live guest portraits are created in my signature oil pastel style during cocktail hour or your reception. Guests enjoy watching their portraits come to life and leave with an original piece of artwork from your wedding.
Portraits are offered on a first-come, first-served basis during the scheduled portrait session.
Do you offer wedding commissions created after the event?
Yes.
If you prefer artwork created after your wedding, I also accept custom commissions based on your favorite wedding photographs. This is a wonderful option for couples who prefer a more detailed studio process or who didn't have live artwork created during their celebration.
Will the finished artwork look exactly like a photograph?
No.
Each piece is an original work of fine art rather than a photographic reproduction.
My goal is to capture the atmosphere, emotion, floral details, and spirit of your wedding while creating a timeless painting that reflects the feeling of the day.
Can additional people be included?
Yes, depending on the artwork size and composition.
Additional family members, wedding party members, or meaningful guests may be included when planned in advance. Additional figures may affect the recommended artwork size and final quote.
Do you travel?
Yes.
I'm based in New Jersey and travel throughout my local service area. If your venue requires additional travel or overnight accommodations, those arrangements will be discussed before booking.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes.
A certificate of insurance can be provided if required by your venue.
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend reaching out as soon as your wedding date and venue are confirmed.
Because I accept a limited number of live weddings each year, availability may become limited during peak wedding season.
