Esin Değirmencioğlu is the artist behind Drawn to Her, an ongoing oil pastel practice exploring the female form through intimacy, softness, vulnerability, and self-recognition.

Based in Highland Park, New Jersey, Esin has maintained a daily pastel practice since May 2024, creating an evolving body of work shaped by discipline and creative devotion.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, her work reflects lived experience, the female gaze, and LGBTQ+ representation. Through color, texture, and gesture, Drawn to Her explores beauty, desire, becoming, resilience, and love for all of our bodies.

What began as a return to art slowly became something more: a space for honesty, expression, and connection. Through Drawn to Her, Esin creates work that invites viewers to feel seen in softness, complexity, confidence, and transformation.

As a mother of two adult children, she brings another layer of perspective to her work, honoring the many versions of ourselves we grow into throughout a lifetime. She is also the founder of Drawn Together Kids, offering process-led creative experiences for children and families through gentle, screen-free art enrichment programs.
