Esin Değirmencioğlu is the artist behind Drawn to Her, an ongoing oil pastel practice exploring the female gaze through original figure drawings.

Based in Highland Park, New Jersey, she has maintained a daily drawing practice since May 2024, creating an ever-growing body of work centered on women, self-recognition, and the belief that we don't have to become someone else before we're worthy of being seen.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Esin creates work inspired by everyday women rather than impossible ideals. Her drawings celebrate softness, intimacy, confidence, desire, and the beauty of women as we already are. LGBTQ+ representation is a natural part of her practice.

Alongside her studio practice, Esin creates live wedding paintings and community art experiences, bringing the same values of presence, connection, and authenticity into shared moments with others.

As a mother of two adult children, she brings another perspective to her work, recognizing that we continue growing into ourselves throughout every stage of life. She is also the founder of Drawn Together Kids, where children and families are encouraged to explore art through curiosity rather than perfection.
